Any experience that you draw on personally or professionally? I started my collegiate life Majoring in Educational Psychology, ultimately electing not to finish as it added an extra year to my graduation with a degree in BioChemistry. As a graduate student at OSU I volunteered with a group through the Center for Science Literacy, ultimately chairing the Biology Education section for four years as part of a STAR schools grant sponsored by the US Department of Education. As part of my role, I provided classroom guidance to those teachers seeking their National Teaching Certification in science. Using a Constructivist derived model, I taught classroom teachers a problem based technique to incorporate into their life science curriculum.
